Well, here goes.
Thought I'd give this blogging a go, after all, my boyfriend writes one every day. I'll tell you now, that I won't be doing that, but I'll aim at one a week.
I hope to make them interesting, fun, exciting and eventful, or I may just use them just to rant - hopefully not too many of them.
Where to start?
I would like to rant, but not a good start to my blogging!
I had some news this afternoon, not the sort of news that I wanted. I am not enjoying my job at the moment, and I don't intend to talk about it now, but lets say I'm looking for alternative employment. The news was not good. The telephone interview I took was not successful, and I won't be called to a face to face interview. The excuse? The concerns that I am not working in a team, and did not have enough knowledge about the company for which I was applying to work for. OK, I agree that my answers to the "What does the company do" may not have come across well, but does that make a good employee? You can know enough about a company, but can you do the work? I know thow to drive a car, does that make me a worse driver than someone that works for a car company? Given time, you learn...... Rome was not built in a day. As for "not working in a team", well, that was just another excuse. Well, ho hum, carry on looking I say. May be something better will come along.
My boyfriend was very supportive when I spoke to him tonight, as he always is. He lets me vent my work day and work annoyances almost every day, and he calms me most of the time. He tells me the positives about me, and most of the time, it's the truth. I'm not an outspoken person, I maybe a "I'll do anything for an easy life" person, who knows. Don't get me wrong, if I don't believe in something, trust someone, then I won't, ever. I'm no push over!
Anyway, on a positive note, I've been on a diet since the start of 2012. Now almost 4 weeks in, I have already lost 9lbs. I hope to loose the stone by next week. I weigh myself every Friday morning, that way, I can have a "bad" day or night over the weekend, then catch up Sunday to Thursday. I've not joined a weight group, like Weight Watchers, or Slimming World, but I'm just counting the calories, and cutting out the rubbish that I use to eat. No crisps, chocolate, fast food/takeaways or evening snacking. When I look back, OMG! Hopefully my stomach is getting smaller!!!
BTW - Prince Lenormand is my boyfriend, look him up if you ever want Tarot read for you.
